At Stefanie Jayne’s we have put together a quick FAQ guide to assist in your shopping experience.

General Questions

Do I need an Appointment?  

Appointments aren’t necessary but are advised as we allocate 2 of our 3 changing rooms to appointment only to minimise waiting time for customers. Our 3rd changing room is left free from appointments all day if you prefer not to book.

Who should I bring with me, when Prom shopping?

You are welcome to bring family/friends with you, although opinions are good, sometimes too many can have a negative effect and make it difficult for you to focus on YOU and how YOU feel in the dress. It can get very busy congested in the shop and therefore at weekends it is a maximum of 2 guest per appointment.
If you are under 18, we do ask that you bring a parent/guardian with you when trying dresses on.

How many dresses do you have in stock and do you hire?

All of our dresses are for purchase only – we do not hire dresses. As they range in price from £65 – £525 we believe we cater to all budgets and have a dress for everyone!
With over 400 dresses in store you have lots to choose from.

What sizes do you stock?

We stock dresses from size 00 – 24 , with lots of styles available to order up to a size 30.

Do you do Alterations if the dress is too long?

Most dresses will need some alterations; whether that be the length or adjustment to the straps. We do not have an in-house seamstress, however we can recommend a number of highly qualified seamstresses in the local areas.

Which designers do you stock?

We are proud stockist of; Gino Cerruti, Pia Michi, Ruby Prom, Terani Couture, Mac Duggal, Envie, Gurbani London and City Goddess. Each designer offering something different.
We have exclusivity in our area so you will not find these designers being stocked in another store for miles.

How will I know which style is right for me?

There is a perfect dress for everyone… Don’t Panic!! After trying on a few dresses it’ll soon become clear what styles suit you best and Dawn and Stefanie have a great eye for styles and body shapes. Members of our team are on hand at all times to assist you in finding your perfect dress.

Do you order in Dresses?

Forward orders can be made on our Prom dresses until Mid-April – This means you will get a brand new dress, not tried on by anyone.
Purchases after designer cut off dates will be an off the rail purchase.

Will you sell my Dress to anyone else from my school?

We operate on a ‘One Style-One school’ Policy, which means we will not sell the same style dress to anyone else from your school; not even in a different colour.
Our Prom log is also kept confidential so know one will know what dress you have chosen!

Location

Where are you based?

We are based 4 miles outside on Kettering in a village location with a courtyard of shops.
Our address is, 16B Barnwell Court, Mawsley, Northamptonshire, NN14 1FG.

We are easily accessible from the M1, M6, A1, A14, A43 and A508.

 

Is there FREE Parking?

Yes, we have Free Parking directly outside of our shop.
Disabled access and facilities available.

Payment Information

How much are your dresses?

Our Prom and Evening dresses range in price from £65 – £525 with every price point in between.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer a variety on interest free payment plans to accommodate everyone’s situation.

Do you have a sale rail?

No, we do not have a sale rail in store. However throughout the whole of July, August & September we offer 50% OFF ALL dresses in store.

This does exclude any new stock for the following season.
